Tortoises who ride go-karts or hares that roller skate. Yvie enjoys drawing animals, with a pen and ink digital brush, particularly in anthropomorphic styles.
Places
Striking sunsets and falling leaves. Yvie’s favourite time of year is autumn, when colours peak before glowing warm hues. Many of Yvie’s landscapes are set as the point of sunrise or sunset. Using rich colours and strong light.
Portraits
Yvie creates digital portraits with software such as Adobe Fresco on her iPad. This allows Yvie the freedom to rest whilst creating and switching between interfaces.
Plants
The home and garden are an abundant resource of inspiration for illustrations and art. Yvie has a dreamy, nature-inspired aesthetic that comes across in each of her pieces. A little rickety, magical and bursting with colour, just like nature.
